Hi,
the task PearPkg2 is completely missing in both docs (svn and 2.2.0). I know that there is some more work to do on this task, but without a description in the documents nobody finds it and no one will ever test it.
Please make at least a copy of the docs of the PearPkg task an rename it to PearPkg2.
After that there might be someone how will take a little bit more care of this task. ;)

If I take a look at /trunk/classes/phing/tasks/ext/PearPackage2Task.php I see such a task...

Yes, my mistake :) There is one in there, but I think it should be removed... I'll leave this open until that happens or until we determine that we should keep this one.

Oh ... ok :) I don't even remember when this got committed. We can add some documentation for it. I would encourage people to check out Travis' task, though, as I think it's far more complete. (Those of us on dev@… would be interested in your thoughts on that too.)
