The phing guide misses the extdeps and replacements mappings of the pearpkg2 task.

Agreed. Plus more examples wouldn't hurt as well. Although documentation is way better than that available for underlying PEAR Package File Manager package (where tons of features left undocumented), it's kind of scarce.
